Overview

Each Account Manager will be responsible for a set territory or customer base to be determined with the client.  Each Account Manager will also be responsible for exceeding all sales goals, distribution goals, and providing service that is first in class.

  

Minor travel is required, to visit conferences, seminars, or attend trade shows.

 

Responsibilities

An Inside Sales Account Manager's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Cold-calling to generate new sales

  • Foster a good customer relationship to retain business and open up cross-sell or up-sell avenues

  • Expand new item sales

  • Negotiate product pricing to meet customer needs, yet maintain gross profit margins

  • Utilize annual volume estimates to set pricing

  • Execute price increases and decreases for customers

  • Escalate pricing and/or customer retention issues to VP of Sales to retain business as needed

  • Execute national promotions with specific customers

  • Complete customer credit applications

  • Execute equipment agreements

  • Provide great customer service, including managing returns

  • Conduct business reviews

 

Qualifications

Our Inside Sales Representatives hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.  They also have the following experience:

  • Minimum one (1) year of inside sales experience

  • Minimum one (1) year of B2B sales experience

  • Prior experience in manging a pipeline and sales activity in a CRM.  Salesforce or Dynamics CRM is preferred.
